About
Built on both sides of the table.
The experience behind Media Monkey spans more than two decades of building brands, growing businesses and deciding where the next marketing dollar should go.
We've worked inside global consumer businesses, helped take challenger brands from startup to category leadership, built independent agencies and created products of our own.
That includes
Helping scale a young Australian juice brand beyond $100m turnover.
Building an independent creative business past $20m in annual revenue.
Introducing behavioural science into agency strategy.
Working across FMCG, retail, government, sport and purpose-led organisations.
The common thread has always been the same:
Marketing should change what people do, and the commercial outcome should matter more than the theatre surrounding it.
That is why Media Monkey starts with behaviour.
And why we're particularly interested in the moment when digital performance begins to flatten and brands need to work out whether part of the next dollar should be tested somewhere broader.
We bring behavioural thinking, creative judgement and media experience together to introduce above-the-line investment carefully, measure what changes and scale what earns its place.
Because we've been the people signing the cheques too.
We've made good calls. Expensive calls. And learnt the difference.

OUR VIBE
A little less boardroom. A little more boatroom.

Media Monkey works from a small waterfront office amongst the bobbing boats on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
It is deliberately a little removed from the usual agency machinery. There is space to spread the problem out, challenge assumptions, sketch ideas, look at the numbers and work out what should actually happen next.
For clients, it gives us a place to step away from the noise and think properly about growth, behaviour, creative and media.
For us, it provides the best of Sydney life and a useful reminder that serious thinking does not necessarily require a particularly serious room.
